Maintenance Technician
Commercial Real Estate Portfolio

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and operation of building structures and systems across a commercial property portfolio. This hands-on role involves preventative maintenance, repairs, and customer service to ensure a safe and efficient building environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair building equipment, HVAC systems, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and fire/life safety systems.

• Conduct routine inspections and respond promptly to service requests.

• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance tasks.

• Monitor building automation systems and energy management initiatives.

• Perform minor repairs on roofing, flooring, ceiling tiles, and general carpentry.

• Support seasonal weather preparedness and emergency response efforts.

• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification (EPA) preferred.

• 2–6 years of maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional environments.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

• Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word).

• Valid driver’s license and availability for on-call rotation.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb ladders, work on rooftops, and lift items up to 50 lbs.

• Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and mechanical spaces.
